Reid Anderson – John

Reid is a Liverpool-based actor, recently seen in Mark McGann’s short Perplexed Music, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and soon to appear in BBC1’s upcoming TV adaptation of H.G. Wells’ sci-fi classic War Of The Worlds.

Reid is also a professional musician, penning the song My Dearest Friends, which features in the film.

Anton Tweedale – Billy Shears

With a background in stage, Anton has starred in The Mousetrap at St. Martin’s Theatre, and Miracle on 34th Street in Dubai.

As well as being a burgeoning star in the musical theatre scene, he has recently featured in the short films Night Call and Lock In.

Basil Marples – George

Basil has become a recognisable face for indie filmmakers, regularly featuring in the hugely popular visual effects demonstrations from HitFilm Software.

Other recent projects have included British feature With Love From Suffolk, as well as having previously worked with director George Moore for the film God Save the King.

Ashley Pekri – Ringo

Ashley is a stage & screen character actor and voiceover artist, who writes and stars in his own series of comedy shorts and sketches, which have become a hit online.

Alongside his various comic roles, Ashley has recently played the dramatic lead in the 2018 feature film The Solace of Orpheus.

GEORGE MOORE

Director / Co-Writer / Editor

George Moore is a writer and director based in London. His short films have garnered him Audience Awards and nominations for Best Film and Best Director, alongside numerous festival selections. He works freelance, directing and producing fiction and music videos. Paul Is Dead’s successful reception has enabled George and the key creative team to pursue a feature adaptation, which is currently being written.

STUART ARMSTRONG

Production Designer / Co-Writer

Stuart Armstrong is a Production Designer & Screenwriter who grew up in Cumbria, where the film was shot. Stuart has previously worked alongside George on his short folk horror film The Hunter, and is now based in London, where he works regularly as an Art Assistant for commercials and drama.

HARRY GREEN

Cinematographer / Colourist

Harry Green is a Director Of Photography and colourist who has previously worked with the same team on The Hunter, for which he received a Best Cinematography nomination. Alongside being a talented DoP, Harry has also produced a number of short films. He now works as a freelance cinematographer and colourist, living in London.

BEN BOVINGTON-KEY

1st Assistant Director / Co-Writer

Ben Bovington-Key is a Screenwriter and Director who Co-wrote ‘Paul is Dead’. With a fondness for Classic British cinema Ben has begun to make a name for himself within the genre. He is currently working on some exciting projects for film and television. His short film ‘Dirty Little Rascals’ will be released onto the festival circuit later this year.
